General Transit Feed Specification

General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) defines a common format for public transportation schedules and associated geographic information. It is the international standard used to digitize and publish trip plan data.  This is the information utilized by programs such as Google Maps, Bing, Apple Maps, Moovit, TransitApp, to name only a few.

To comply with National Transit Database (NTD) reporting requirements, we have publicly published the link to Metro’s GTFS. It is regularly updated by Metro staff.
