New Route & Stops Address Safety Concerns

Starting Monday, January 6, 2025, 12 – Duke will be starting a new route with new stops to help riders safely access their community.

Stops along Lovers Lane and Winters Drive will no longer be served. The discontinued stops include:

  • Lovers Lane & Loy Norrix (Inbound #1227)
  • Winters & Lovers Lane (Outbound #494)
  • Winters & Bennet (Outbound #495)
  • Winters & Portage (Outbound #496)

The new route will travel east on Kilgore Road and then south at Portage Road to Airport Drive. New stops will be placed at:

  • Loy Norrix High School (Outbound ONLY)**
  • Residence Inn (Kilgore Rd & Portage Rd)
  • Portage Rd & Fairfield Rd
  • Airview Blvd & Portage Rd
  • Kilgore Rd at MDOT Carpool Lot

** Note: There will be no Inbound stop at Loy Norrix due to safety concerns. Students will need to board the Outbound bus that stops along Loy Norrix’s property.

New bus stop signs will be installed as quickly as weather will allow. Temporary signage will be placed along the route to indicate the new stops. Please check myStop Mobile or Track My Bus for further route information. If you need assistance with trip planning, please call 269-337-8222.
